Get a sense of the types of scenarios that you may be presented with. All of the test scenarios present generic ethical dilemmas that you may encounter in your everyday life. The scenarios are NOT specific to the program or profession you are applying to. Be sure to read the associated questions and consider all aspects of the dilemma.

Preparing for Duet

  • There is no need to practice or prepare for Duet as it is simply a measure of your own personal values and preferences. A practice component is not provided.
  • You will be provided with instructions once you enter Duet. Make sure to read them carefully.
  • You will be presented with characteristics and their definitions. Be sure to familiarize yourself with these definitions before proceeding to the comparison pages.
  • Go with your gut: there’s no right or wrong answer.

General tech Tips

    • Complete the system requirements check for Casper and Snapshot (if applicable). It is mandatory to perform this check within six hours prior to starting your Casper test to resolve any issues ahead of time.
    • Chrome and Firefox are the only supported web browsers. Make sure you have either one or both of these browsers installed and up to date. The latest version of each web browser can be found here.
    • Use a desktop or laptop computer to take your test. Smartphones and tablets are not supported devices for taking Casper, Snapshot and Duet.
    • Check your Internet connection: A reliable, high-speed Internet connection with a bandwidth speed and upload speed of at least 2 megabytes per second is required. You can verify this by clicking here). To get your internet speed results, please wait a few seconds for the numbers on the site to stop changing. To get your upload speed, click on the ‘Show More Info’ button below your internet speed and wait a few seconds for the numbers on the site to stop changing.

Note if you see the speed in gigabytes per second (GB/s) that’s sufficient!

  • Ensure that your webcam is working
  • Ensure that your microphone is working
  • Disable VPNs, Firewalls, and Plug-Ins
  • If you encounter a technical issue, try switching from Chrome to Firefox (or vice versa)
  • Please note that when you log in your account you will be able to access more troubleshooting tips related to the technical issue you may face during the test. You can access this by clicking on Technical Troubleshooting Tips under Knowledge Base on your account’s homepage
